New clay preparation line for
Ibstock Brick Ltd.

Ceratec has built the complete clay preparation line for this new production unit. The line consists of a clay reception unit, clay preparation, clay storage and mixing line after the storage. The clay reception unit built near the clay stockyard is equipped with four box feeders and a roller crusher.

The clay is further processed in the central clay preparation before it is soured. The clay preparation is equipped with a Händle HMSI 2180c wet pan mill and two Händle WF10150e roller mills. Afterwards the processed clay is stored in one of five boxes. A travelling belt platform distributes the clay into the boxes. The prepared clays are removed from the storage boxes with a loading shovel and fed into the box feeders of the mixing line. The mixing line is equipped with an open double-shaft mixer for mixing the clay with water and further additives. The mixed clay is handed over to the soft mud brick press.

With the new equipment Ibstock Brick has optimum possibilities for further innovative top-quality products.
