Under the headline “Building the future with bricks”, the trade magazine Zi Brick and Tile Industry International cooperated with Messe München to hold “Heavy Clay Day” for the fourth time at ceramitec.
The efficient utilization of resources is one of the big challenges in the heavy clay industry, especially when it comes to energy. A high-calibre programme of talks on Wednesday, 11 April 2018, at the forum of the new Messe München trade fair centre addressed the topic of energy saving in all its facets. Subjects will include roofing tile production in a new dimension, short-term heat storage in the heavy clay industry, decoupling kiln and dryer, as well as fast firing bricks and tiles. The exciting closing topic was digitalization in the heavy clay industry.
Following the programme of talks, the “Zi Best Service Supplier” award was presented for the first time by Zi Brick and Tile Industry International together with Messe München. A get-together afterwards provided plenty of opportunities to discuss the topics addressed in the talks.
