Change of management at ERLUS AG - Peter Hoffmann hands over company management
Peter Hoffmann, a long-serving member of the ERLUS AG Board of Management, has handed over the company‘s management to his successors as of 30 June 2023, according to the company‘s press release. Chief Technology Officer Dr. Rüdiger Grau and Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Patrick Dietrich will continue to manage the business and will be joined by Martin Eisenreich as Chief Commercial Officer from 1 August 2023.
„We are very grateful to Peter Hoffmann for his extremely successful work for our company over the past 27 years; he has played a key role in shaping ERLUS AG,“ emphasised Claus Girnghuber, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ERLUS AG. His succession had been planned in the long term to enable a smooth transition and to ensure continuity. Dr Grau and Dietrich have strengthened the company‘s Executive Board since January 2023. Eisenreich, who will complete the board from August, has been with ERLUS AG since 2004 and was most recently responsible for purchasing, logistics and general administration.
Eventful years with many challenges
Hoffmann expressed his gratitude: „I have mastered exciting and often very demanding challenges at ERLUS, but I have also made many friends.“ Hoffmann joined ERLUS as a management consultant in 1994 and introduced SAP R/3, among other things. He became a permanent employee in 1997. After various management functions in IT, controlling and finance and accounting, Hoffmann was appointed to the Board of Management after the tragic death of Dominik Brunner in 2009 and was initially responsible for the commercial area. At the same time, he was involved in the establishment and development of the Dominik Brunner Foundation and was a member of the Board for 10 years. In 2019, he moved to the Foundation‘s Board of Trustees. From September 2011, Hoffmann took over the ERLUS Board of Management department of Marketing and Sales, and from 2013 also the Technology department, and led the company for 10 years as sole member of the Board of Management. In 2019, Hoffmann was also appointed to the board of the Federal Association of the German Brick and Tile Industry.
Hoffmann emphasises: „I am extremely grateful to our supervisory board and its chairman Claus Girnghuber for the many years of very pleasant and trusting cooperation. However, these successful years in difficult times would not have been possible without the wonderful people at ERLUS. My special thanks and respect go to them for the work they have done. To the new management team, Dr. Grau for technology, Mr. Dietrich for sales and, from 1 August 2023, Mr. Eisenreich for administration, I wish much success and always a happy hand in their demanding tasks.“
Of course, Peter Hoffmann will remain associated with ERLUS AG. It is planned that he will be appointed to the Supervisory Board at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 4 July 2023.
Martin Eisenreich becomes Board Member for Administration
Eisenreich studied business informatics in Regensburg and joined the IT and Controlling department of ERLUS AG on 1 July 2004. On 1 January 2008, he was made Head of Purchasing, and in 2022 he will also be Head of Logistics. In this function, he is significantly involved in the planning and construction of the new high-bay warehouse at the Neufahrn site.
