Tecnargilla 2010: Technology looks ahead

Tecnargilla is back – one of the most important international exhibitions dedicated to technology and supplies for the ceramic and brick industries, organized by Rimini Fiera and ACIMAC, the Italian association of machine and equipment producers for ceramics.

The exhibition will be held in Rimini Expo Centre from 27 September to 1 October 2010, again in the same period as Cersaie, allowing foreign visitors to more easily visit both events. The experience of the 2008 edition has convinced the organizers to confirm this strategic decision.

The 2008 edition confirmed Tecnargilla as a world leader for suppliers to the ceramics and brick industries. A gross exhibition space of 80 000 m², 31 432 visitors, up 1.9% on 2006, and over 700 exhibitors are the key figures for the last edition. The most positive note is certainly the strong attendance of foreign visitors, representing 39.2% of Tecnargilla 2008’s total public. This was a net percentage increase compared to the 35.9% for the 2006 edition. The top ten countries of origin of the visitors include all major ceramics production countries.

Confirming its “every two years” tradition, Tecnargilla will once again play host to the theme sections present in the previous edition.
