Change of personnel at innovatherm
Wolfgang Uhrig, innovatherm‘s other managing director, is now concentrating on the company‘s commercial/business interests and the development of special products.
innovatherm has appointed Domenico Di Lisa as authorized signatory and sales director. Di Lisa has also been picked to manage the Indian subsidiary innosat Projects Private Ltd.
Graduating from Ruhr-Universität Bochum in 1985 with a master‘s degree in electrical engineering, Detlef Maiwald began his professional career with Krohne Meßtechnik in Duisburg, where, as a development engineer, he was responsible for the design of new flow meters. In 1987, he joined LVE Verfahrenselektronik, a subsidiary of Ruhrgas AG, where he initially headed the automation / I&C department, in which instrumentation and control systems were designed for industrial kilns and furnaces serving the steel and ceramic industries. Maiwald was appointed sales manager in 1992. In July of 2001, he joined innovatherm as sales manager and authorized signatory responsible for global sales of combustion plant for anode furnaces in the aluminium industry. Effective January 1, 2010, Detlef Maiwald has now assumed the post of managing director.
Domenico Di Lisa began his career as a certified industrial engineer at Klöckner Industrie-Anlagen GmbH in Duisburg in 1988, where he held a number of positions in the sales department. In 1998, Di Lisa accepted a position at Alexanderwerk AG, an engineering and machine-building company based in Remscheid that manufactures equipment for the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Eventually, he came to manage the company‘s global sales activities as sales/marketing manager. His “personal pet” selling areas were Asia and the USA. Since joining innovatherm in May 2007, Di Lisa has been responsible for global sales of combustion plant for anode furnaces in the aluminium industry. As of January 1, Domenico Di Lisa now holds the post of sales director for innovatherm‘s entire range of products and services.
