Resource efficiency determines the development of heavy clay ceramics
In keeping with the motto „Green Manufacturing“, many plant manufacturers presented new, more efficient machinery and equipment for heavy clay ceramics already at the last ceramitec. Since then, these themes have been continuously further developed for the entire manufacturing chain.
The manufacturers from the mechanical engineering and kiln engineering sectors have already responded to increasing requirements and will exhibit trendsetting solutions and new ideas on resource-friendly production and construction methods at ceramitec 2015. New concepts for the construction of dryers and furnaces give rise to the expectation of energy savings of up to 30 percent. This proves that heavy clay ceramics products, which have continually met the building requirements of the respective epoch over millennia, still experience pioneering developments as regards their fabrication and product design.
Traditionally, ceramitec in Munich is home to the heavy clay ceramics segment. Among other things, this is apparent from the fact that 100 exhibitors will represent this segment in 2015, too. Well-known key players have already signed up.
In addition to comprehensively presenting the industry as a whole, ceramitec 2015 will offer a comprehensive support programme. In cooperation with the specialist magazine Zi Brick and Tile Industry International, „Heavy Clay Day“ will be held for the third time on 23 October 2015. Here, the industry experts will demonstrate their pioneering solutions and new ideas relating to the focal theme of „Resource efficiency“. The speakers will talk about savings in the consumption of both raw materials and energy.
