Siemens Energy and EnergyNest join forces to develop industrial energy storage projects
EnergyNest and Siemens Energy announce a long-term partnership to develop thermal energy storage solutions for industrial customers. Leveraging EnergyNest’s market-ready technology, the company will seek to incorporate its proprietary Thermal Battery in Siemens Energy’s projects, as well as identifying and executing joint customer projects.
Centered around cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency, the parties will work together to develop industrialized, modularized and standardized thermal energy storage solutions for Siemens Energy’s industrial customers.
EnergyNest has a proven track record of its technology with two commercial projects underway, including a Thermal Battery for Italian energy company Eni, and repurposing waste heat into primary energy input for Austrian brick manufacturer Senftenbacher.
