Keramischer OFENBAU wins Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award
Keramischer OFENBAU (KOG), a leading German manufacturer of highly efficient kilns for ceramic production, has been honoured with the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award. The award was presented by Olaf Lies, Minister for Economy in Lower Saxony, during the Hannover Messe Foreign Trade Day in April. Keramischer OFENBAU prevailed against strong competitors, also extraordinarily successful on the international market – despite persistent global crises. From sanitary and tableware ceramics, construction and technical ceramics to fuel cells - KOG‘s industrial kilns produce reliably and energy-efficiently. And not only gas-based: electric heating and up to 100 percent hydrogen is also possible in these plants.
The Award is issued by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics, Transport, Building, and Digitalisation and recognises companies that stand out for their excellent export performance and exceptional success in international markets. It pays tribute to the dedication and ambitious performance of the KOG team during the past years as well as the commitment to the kiln of the future. In the past years, the company has continuously worked toward the optimal kiln solution for every customer by improving kiln systems and modernisations, especially with their EnerViT technology. Thus, the team was able to convince the jury with competence, efficiency, and innovation as well as flexibility and dedication.
Managing directors Thomas Alten and Dave McGuinness proudly accepted the award on behalf of the entire KOG team. They thanked the jury and the ministry and emphasised the hard work and commitment of the team.
Despite the ongoing worldwide crises, the company has positioned itself even better than before, locally as well as globally. Despite supply chain constraints, travel restrictions and volatile pricing, Keramischer OFENBAU has proven to be a strong and reliable partner for all customers, mastering challenges with flexibility, creativity and dedication.
