The company Goerg & Schneider has invested for the future with Keller HCW. The machinery and dryer technology for the chamotte production were modified at their headquarters in Boden (Germany). The new slug cutter as well as the new dryer were supplied by Keller HCW from Ibbenbüren-Laggenbeck.

 

Slug cutter

The slug cutter cuts accurately sized slugs with an output of 32 cuts/min. The slugs are then lined up in the outlet of the cutter by means of an additional grouping conveyor. Furthermore, in a low-maintenance process, it cuts slugs from a continuously transported column, in freely selectable...
