Equipceramic supplies new setting and dehacking equipment to roofing tile manufacturer Sotelha
Cerâmica Sotelha, S.A., one of the most prestigious roofing tile manufacturers in Portugal, has entrusted the Spanish company Equipceramic with the design and installation of its new setting and dehacking equipment.
This new equipment, due for commissioning by the end of July, will allow for making roofing tile packages adapted to the different market requirements and with a quality guaranteed by the pre-sorting of roofing tiles. Final packages will be made up of units placed both vertically and horizontally and the different piles will be separated by different protecting materials in order to ensure trouble-free transportation to their final destination. Especially for this project, Equipceramic has designed a new automated line including the installation of robots to ensure accurate and careful handling of the fired roofing tiles.
