Brampton gets new dehacking line
Brampton Brick has a long tradition that goes back to the 19th century. Since then, it has become an international company with factories at different places in Canada and the United States, driven by the willingness to incorporate the latest technological advances in order to obtain a final product meeting customers’ expectations and needs.
The main product in the Brampton Brick range are facing bricks for both commercial and residential construction, which are sold in different sizes and textures mainly in Canada and the United States.
Following the strategy of using state-of-the-art facilities with high technology, Brampton brick signed an agreement with Equipceramic to upgrade the de-hacking and packaging line of its 30-year-old factory in Brampton. The development of this new project will enable an increase in the production capacity of the de-hacking and packaging line up to 25 000 bricks/day.
Although the project designed by Equipceramic completely redefines the operating system of the de-hacking and packaging line, it also works at a higher speed. New supplied equipment is designed to perfectly adapt to the already existing equipment.
Besides the supply of new de-hacking and packaging equipment, the project covers the entire electronic system for the control of the supplied equipment as well as for the control of the already existing equipment in the line. An electronic control system from Allen-Bradley is used to ensure the electronic compatibility of all the equipment in the plant.
