Craven Fawcett becomes Teide distributor

Teide has developed a comprehensive portfolio of refractory solutions over its 60-year history. The company has been involved with over 350 factory installations worldwide.

Teide’s refractory know-ledge combined with Craven Fawcett’s kiln car fabrication capability now allows the UK business to provide a complete kiln car design and build service. The new products will be delivered through Craven Fawcett’s own in-house team of highly trained and experienced engineers based at the company’s production facility in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Key to the Teide offer to the UK market is a full proof of concept service. State-of-the art-design simulation incorporating finite element analysis ensures that kiln car energy consumption is optimized for a given range of customer materials and part shapes.

Teide has two production plants in Spain, producing over 30 000 tonnes of high-quality refractory materials per annum. The company also has a well-equipped laboratory for the development of refractory products.
