Robotized cutting technology

With brick quality criteria becoming ever more stringent, new brickhandling methods are inevitably required.

That also entails certain changes in the production of special-purpose clay masonry units, e.g., formwork bricks. Now, Lingl has introduced a new, robotized cutting technique as an innovative answer to the increasing demand for formwork bricks.

It consists of expanding the brick transfer part of the pallet-loading process by means of wet-side robots. In a separately installed multi-wire cutter, the desired cut-outs are made simultaneously on several bricks by way of freely programmable, optimally implemented robotic motion sequences.
