RIETER MORANDO: new projects for preparation and shaping lines
In the last two difficult years, Rieter Morando has reached good results and succeeded keeping up with the development of specific projects for preparation and shaping equipment.
In particular, for Fast-Growing Areas with huge Urbanization centers, we have defined turnkey solutions with a tailor-made approach.
On top of our experience of more than a century and equipment based on the most advanced European technology, Rieter Morando looks at the Customer requirements and together they work shaping a customized solution.
In the last few years, we designed and delivered projects in Africa for the production of clay bricks: the Kwastina plant, the ‘Home of the Brick’ which can produce up to 100 million extruded first-class face bricks per year for the South African and neighboring market, has been designed together with KELLER and works with the Rieter Morando technology. But not only; another big plant will be ready in 2023 and it will surely become a reference for the East African region.
Concerning the roofing tile Market, the Rieter Morando technology is definitely in a strong demand phase in Europe and also collecting big interest in the rapidly recovering economies of Asia and South America.
Rieter Morando recently completed a major installation in Denmark of a new DR6/2400-IV drum press ( https://www.rietermorando.com/product/22 ) suitable for operation with four large plaster moulds, as well as a feeding line and a new SR 1900 vertical mixer(https://www.rietermorando.com/product/17) , which are used on both the new line and the one already in operation in the factory. The existing SP 560/500 extruder (https://www.rietermorando.com/product/18) was also completely overhauled and a new state-of-the-art control system and software installed.
Another major project for a complete pressing line has been carried out in Hungary. The project involved the complete overhaul of two 3-mould presses owned by the customer, which were subsequently reinstalled in the factory as new. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmYmqVfWGC0)
A number of solutions to increase the output of plants already equipped with Rieter Morando technology have also been delivered to the German market.
Despite the fact that all the lines are fully automatic, special attention was devoted to safety with the installation of physical and electronic barriers to prevent personnel from approaching moving machine components and ensure entirely risk-free maintenance.
New challenging times are waiting for us all and thanks to the positive results coming from our Customers who have chosen Rieter Morando as a reliable technological Partner, we look at the future with confidence and enthusiasm.
