Good planning is half the work!
On arrival at the VVKZ brickworks, Freymatic’s engineers were able to pay a big compliment to the personnel. They had set up the second multiwire cutter perfectly and also correctly aligned the slug distributor. So the integration in the production line and the adaptation of the control system could be processed smoothly. Even on the national holiday “Victory Day” the specialists at VVKZ were on hand for commissioning and instruction, which Freymatic’s specialists appreciated very much. The new cutter was quickly put into operation and the work is now shared by the two Multicut cutters. Despite the huge peak performance of 28 800 four-sided chamfered standard-size units per hour, the cutters operate extremely quietly and ensure top-quality products, which are in good demand on the Russian market and fetch high prices.
The owners of the brick-making plant, the Master Group in Moscow, are looking ahead: The management plans to extend the plant in order to produce high-insulation clay blocks too. Freymatic conceptually implemented this request and prepared the interface accordingly. The control system was also prepared and the space required for the machines is available.
After completion of the commissioning, Felix Bazhanov, Master Group General Director, announced: “We thank you for the work you have done! It was a real joy to convince ourselves that the Freymatic machines work like the world-famous Swiss clocks.”
