Counted together, all the buildings in Switzerland represent a replacement value of some 2 500 million CHF, with that of rising structures – housing, offices – accounting for the lion‘s share of 1 750 million CHF. For a targeted annual rehabilitation rate of 1.2% of Switzerland‘s total real-estate volume, the building renovation volume should come to 21 million CHF.
