Keller HCW dedicates new tunnel kiln in Indonesia

On June 16, 2010, a very special good luck symbol was unveiled at the Pabrik Genteng “GOOD YEAR” brick plant in Surabaya, Indonesia. Very much to the joy of brick-plant owner Halim Hartono, a huge koi carp made of glazed bricks now decorates the modern KELLER HCW-tunnel kiln. Kois symbolise happiness and prosperity.

Construction of the new tunnel kiln began in December 2009. The kiln is expected to commence operation in December 2010, after which approx. 50 000 roof tiles will be produced per day.

Keller HCW wishes the company good luck and “Setiap saat membakar dengan baik” (Good firing every time)!
