Tecnofiliere SRL – Hall / Halle A4, Booth / Stand 201/302

Tecnofiliere SRL attending ceramitec 2024

Tecnofiliere SRL, leading Italian manufacturer of dies and accessories for heavy clay extrusion for almost 30 year now, participates as an exhibitor at the Ceramitec fair with its own stand (Hall A4, Booth 201/302) where the commercial and technical staff will be happy to welcome customers and business partners.

Research and innovation always play a key role in Tecnofiliere’s operations. The Emilia-based company recently launched a new brand called Tecnocoating, an innovative coating system for the wear parts of extruder dies that offers an effective alternative to the chromium-plating treatment used for years for liners, cores and core holders.

The launch of Tecnocoating reflects Tecnofiliere’s efforts to eliminate the toxic effects of hexavalent chromium in the brick production process and sets a new standard in terms of safety and environmental protection.

Tecnocoating guarantees a longer lifetime of treated parts compared to chrome and is much more precise in terms of its application as operator intervention is not required.

A further innovative brand presented by Tecnofiliere is Tecnoceramic, a special wear-resistant ceramic material composed by alumina and zirconium oxide in carefully balanced proportions. Along with its high wear resistance, Tecnoceramic also has a lower cost than tungsten carbide. Suitable for the construction of cores and liners for extrusion dies in regions with highly abrasive clay, it can be used on its own or in conjunction with the well-known material Tecnocarbide, another Tecnofiliere brand. By combining the two materials with specific thicknesses, it is possible to create “sandwich” type cores according to customers’ requirements. For the construction of the liners, Tecnoceramic is installed on a special steel structure to ensure that the material is protected from accidental impacts, for example during die cleaning operations.
