Bongioanni supplies two Chinese clay roofing tile plants
Bongioanni Macchine and Bongioanni Stampi are entering the roofing tile market in Southern China and supplying two complete roofing tile lines to two leading local manufacturers. They will replace the Japanese-made machines currently used, with the aim of improving the quality of the products.
The first line delivered in March is scheduled for commissioning in September and consists of the following machines:
> a LS 810 roller mill to ensure optimum particle size distribution of the body during extrusion
> a Tecno 550 extruder complete with pressure-head and Alfa double extrusion die for forming the clay clots
> a Crono 222 roofing tile press complete with two sets of moulds for plain and Roman tiles suitable for plaster
The second line will be shipped at the end of October and its start-up is scheduled for early 2015. It will consist of two Crono 222 presses complete with two sets of dies for plain tiles and Roman tiles suitable for plaster and a Tecno 550 extruder complete with pressure-head and Alfa double extrusion die for forming clay clots.
