denkmal European Trade Fair for Conservation, Restoration and OldBuilding Renovation
International Business Meetings ContactWhat matchmaking does for online business networks, the International Business Meetings Contact does at denkmal, European Trade Fair for Conservation, Restoration and OldBuilding Renovation. In advance of the fair, offers and demand for heritage conservation services and products are made known through this project, bringing together potential partners so that visiting or appearing at the fair is even more effective. “Small and medium size businesses in particular sometimes lack the necessary know-how when it comes to finding the right partners on the complex European market, and so they benefit from Contact”, explains denkmal project director Ulrike Lange.
"To hold your own against the competition, international partners can possibly be absolutely necessary. As a European fair, we want to support this international networking, especially as heritage conservation problems are not confined within national frontiers”, says Lange. The Business Meetings Contact event is organised by the Leipzig Handwerkskammer – Chamber of Trade, the Industrie- und Handelskammer zu Leipzig – Chamber of Commerce -, Leipziger Messe and the “enterprise Europe network”.
Meetings between potential cooperation partners will be held on 19 November from 10.00 to 17.00 in the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL), with interpreter services available in support.
The Business Meetings event was premiered at the 2008 denkmal, when 73 companies from France, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Russia and Germany took advantage of this opportunity to optimise their success at the fair.
Exhibitors and visitors in search of special skilled artisans, restorers, products and machines at denkmal 2010, or wanting to draw attention to their products and services in advance of the fair, can already register their meeting requirements as of now. The registration form is available on the website www.denkmal-leipzig.de under “Fachprogramm” – “Specialist Programme”. The closing date for registrations is 1 October 2010.
