Charles-Antoine de Barbuat heads European Suppliers to the Ceramics Industry
The members of the Working Group European Ceramic Technology Suppliers (ECTS) elected Charles-Antoine de Barbuat, CEO of Keyria S.A., Paris, as their new chairman at its membership meeting in Monforte d’Alba/Italy, held recently. De Barbuat will take over from Jean-Jacques Wagner who had held this post since November 2007 and left the board by the end of last year.
Members also voted Luca Caramelli, CEO of Bongioanni Macchine SpA, Fossano/Italy to the Board. In addition the new board also includes Vicente Romeo, Commerical Director of Talleres Felipe Verdés SA., Vilanova del Camí/Spain, and Paul Eirich, Managing Partner of Maschinenfabrik Gustav Eirich GmbH & Co KG, Hardheim/Germany.
ECTS is now also supporting the campaign “Choose the Original – Choose Success”, which was launched by VDMA, the German Engineering Federation.
ECTS – official partner of Ceramitec
ECTS will be official partner of Ceramitec. The group will present joint initiatives at Ceramitec like for example a special exhibition on energy and cost efficiency. The next ECTS group meeting will also be held at this occasion on October 19th, 2009 in Munich.
