62nd TBE General Assembly in Naples
In 2014, Andil, the Italian tile and brick association, is organizing the TBE annual meeting parallel to its own general assembly. The annual meetings fall at an important juncture as Italy will be assuming the EU presidency from 1 July 2014. Heimo Scheuch, TBE President, emphasized that this will provide a good opportunity to discuss crucial European issues like the revision of the carbon leakage list under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.
The assemby will start on Thursday 19 June with meetings for the various product groups before the Executive Committee convenes. The first day concludes with a gala dinner for TBE and Andil members and partners at the Yacht Club Nautico Savoia. The TBE General Assembly takes place on Friday, 20 June, and will be followed by a panel debate with the sponsors. The meetings will continue with a joint TBE-Andil debate featuring guest speakers.
