Beck+Heun upgrades entire clay brick shutter box production
At its Altenmünster site, Beck+Heun has invested in a robot-controlled, digitalized and largely automated production line for ROKA-LITH brick shutter boxes.
Thanks to the good order situation, production and personnel capacities in Altenmünster were exhausted. With the new line, the existing production team can produce twice as much as before – per shift, several hundred metres of clay shutter boxes roll off the production belt. The six new robots have taken over primarily those production steps that had been especially strenuous for the employees because of noise, dust emissions and the physical exertion involved.
With an investment volume of more than € 5 mill., the upgrading of brick shutter box production is one of the biggest future projects of the shutter box manufacturer.
