Beralmar supplies biomass combustion chamber to Cerámica Espíritu Santo
The Spanish company Beralmar has supplied a new solid-fuel combustion chamber, a piece of equipment for which there has been considerable demand in recent years, to the Spanisn company Cerámica Espíritu Santo in Villaluenga de la Sagra.
This CSD/6000 direct flame combustion chamber with an output of 6 000 000 kcal/h (7000 kWh) will provide heat for two brick dryers. It will be fuelled with different types of biomass, mainly almond shells and olive pomace.
In addition to the savings generated by using these fuels, the ceramics plant will benefit from the subsequent decrease in CO2 emission levels, which will allow the company to sell its surplus emission rights.
