As newly elected President of Tiles and Bricks Europe (TBE), the European association representing the interests of the clay brick and roofing tile manufacturers, I am pleased to invite you to our 2015 Congress. This event will be held on 1 and 2 June in Leuven, Belgium.
The Belgian Brick Association (BBF) and the Royal Dutch Association for Building Ceramics (KNB) are kindly hosting the 2015 TBE Congress in parallel to their own national meetings.
Nearly 100 executives are expected to attend the congress, where they will discover the latest developments in the industry, share expertise and network. The venue in Leuven – a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site – is only 15 minutes from Brussels airport.
The Congress will start on Monday 1 June with meetings of the Roofing Tiles Product Group followed by the Masonry Product Group. All members are encouraged to attend the TBE Joint Environmental and Technical Working Group in the afternoon as it will give the opportunity to obtain a comprehensive overview of the activities undertaken during the last year. That evening there will be a cocktail and gala dinner in the former Infirmary of the 13th century Begijnhof.
The morning of 2 June will be dedicated to the TBE Executive Committee, BBF Board, KNB General Assembly and TBE General Assembly. In the afternoon, there will be a debate to discuss crucial developments related to construction and sustainability.
