Further postponement to 2022
LGA Würzburg, the Federal Association of the German Brick and Tile Industry (BVZI) and the Association of the Bavarian Brick and Tile Industry have taken the concerted decision to cancel this year’s Würzburg Brick and Tile Training Course as well.
Dr Matthias Frederichs, Secretary General of the BVZI: “All organizations involved deeply regret the cancellation and hope the brick and tile manufacturing community will understand their decision.” Yves Knoll, Secretary of the Association of the Bavaria Brick and Tile Industry adds: “We are optimistic that the Würzburg Brick and Tile Training Course will again be able to take place in its usual and proven format next year.”
Insufficient planning reliability
The advisory board had already got very far in its planning of the event and was working on a programme that – as in previous years – would have provided attendees with information on the latest findings from research, development and the field as well as on innovations in all areas of production.
Joachim Deppisch from LGA, Director of the Würzburg Brick and Tile Training Course: “I regard myself as being responsible not only for smooth running of the event, but also for the health of the attendees. At the same time, all those responsible for the course do not want to accept a drastic reduction in the number of attendees to comply with possible Covid regulations.” The decision to cancel the course yet again had not been an easy one, said Deppisch, but it had seemed the only logical and right step. “I look forward all the more to a continuation of the Würzburg Brick and Tile Training Course in 2022 and hope to welcome again the attendees then in the best of health.”
