Georg Harrasser – new CEO at Monier Braas GmbH
With effect from 15 March 2013, Georg Harrasser has taken over as CEO at Monier Braas GmbH, which is headquartered in Oberursel, Germany. He succeeds Dr Rudolf Rauss, who is leaving the Group after 20 years’ service.
Georg Harrasser graduated in mechanical engineering at TU München (Munich University of Technology) and began his career at Monier in May 1993 as assistant to the management of the Italian subsidiary in Kiens/Southern Tyrol. This was followed by various positions in quality management, as plant manager and production manager. On 1 June 2006 he was appointed CEO of Monier Italy. In March 2010 he moved as CEO for Monier Asia Pacific to Malaysia, and at the beginning of 2012 he also took over regional responsibility for the South African roofing business.
