New spacer for Argelite façades

Argelite façade panels stand out for their impressive durability, low maintenance requirement and physicostructural benefits of fired clay as compared to claddings made of artificial material. The system‘s scope of supply covers three standard panel sizes (200, 250, 300 mm x 500 mm) in the colours sand, volcano grey and salmon red, horizontal mounting rails, corner pieces and EPDM spacers.

The Argelite system is convincingly safe and easy to install and anything but heavy (31 kg/m²). At Roof+Timber International 2016, Wienerberger introduced new spacers for the Argelite system that offer additional advantages: They were reshaped to facilitate installation (clipping in) of the rubber-like material in the cruciform joint. In addition, the horizontal aluminium rail behind the joint does not „shine out“, because it is covered by the dark spacer in the shadow gap. Since system installation follows the drywall principle, below-freezing weather is no hindrance. This façade system requires no insulation between cladding and wall and is therefore suitable for use on garages, small industrial units or the like.
