Personnel changes in the management of the Monier Group

W ith effect from 1 October 2013 there will be two new members of the Group Management of the Monier Group. Joining CEO Pepyn Dinandt (52) are Matthew Russell (36) as Group CFO and Gerhard Mühlbeyer (58). Matthew Russell takes over from Dr Jürgen Koch (56), who is leaving the company after five years as its CFO.

The Monier Group’s new Chief Financial Officer, Matthew Russell, most recently held the position of Director Group Reporting, Controlling and Consolidation at HeidelbergCement AG until November 2012. He is a chartered accountant and holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Oxford University.

In the newly created post of Global Industrial Director, Gerhard Mühlbeyer assumes overall responsibility for Research & Development, Production, and Quality Management at the Monier Group. Gerhard Mühlbeyer can draw on over 30 years’ experience in production and sales at HeidelbergCement AG. Positions held included managing directorships at various HeidelbergCement AG subsidiaries.
