Sixth generation joins the management team

Since 1 May 2022, the siblings Freya and Johann Röben have been members of the management of Röben Tonbaustoffe GmbH, Zetel. “We want to do everything we can to ensure that Röben as a modern company continues to stand for quality and reliability in the future,” explains Freya Röben. “And we are happy to help shape the family business as the sixth generation now,” adds Johann Röben.

Freya Röben (28) initially worked in business development after studying economics. Johann Röben (30) studied business administration and most recently worked in international key account management.

In future, they will contribute their ideas to the existing management team consisting of father Wilhelm-Renke Röben as well as Rolf Sander, Stephan Heiken and Ralf Borrmann.

According to its own information, the Röben Group is the largest private manufacturer of brick products in Germany. In 13 state-of-the-art plants – six in Germany, three in Poland and four in the USA (another is under construction there) – a total of around 1,300 employees produce clinker bricks, clinker brick slips, roof tiles and fine stoneware for planners and builders worldwide.
