Successful ceramitec for Bongioanni

The staff of Bongioanni Macchine welcomed many international and competent trade visitors at their stand at this year’s ceramitec. The reason for this were the solutions presented by Bongioanni with regard to topical and very sensitive issues such as energy saving, simplification of maintenance operations, ergonomics, and user-friendliness in the control of the extrusion group.

Bongioanni, too, offers new developments in digitalization for the heavy clay industry with the aim of creating highly automated processes to facilitate efficient production and offer customized solutions. Along with ad-hoc projects, many other options are offered that allow the user industries to incorporate and merge dissociated or intermittent processing phases and to reduce production costs, implementation times and to smooth countless control operations. Marco Lanfranco, COO at Bongioanni, noted that the heavy clay industry was becoming more and more demanding in terms of increased efficiency and reduced energy consumption. Moreover, strong interest had been shown by our customers in automation solutions and digital plant control. Bongioanni has been steadily investing for years in research and development to position itself as one of the market leaders. Lanfranco was satisfied with the number of visitors to the stand and the many interesting talks with current and prospective customers. There were fewer visitors in 2018 than there were in 2015, although Bongioanni noticed a lot of interest from South America.

For our trade fair stand, ceramitec was an interesting event in terms of numbers and but also with regard to the competence of the visitors. We presented some innovations in the areas energy saving and safety amongst others, which were received with great interest. It was a pleasure to find that the main European producers have regained a positive attitude and are showing renewed optimism and interest. The overall result is definitely positive, and we too are optimistic and confident.
