Wienerberger now offering new graduate school programme for sustainable building

The Wienerberger Sustainable Building Academy is an international education programme that Wienerberger AG established in cooperation with Leibniz Universität Hannover, Graz University of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology and Vienna University of Economics and Business. The initiators‘ programme addresses outstandingly qualified and motivated students of architecture and civil and environmental engineering who wish to extend their knowledge and experience in the field of “sustainable building”. The Wienerberger Sustainable Building Academy is being conducted in Austria, Germany, Poland and Belgium for the first time this year.

A total of twelve scholarship holders from Germany, Austria and Poland will be able to participate in the one-semester programme. The educational programme combines tertiary level theory with workaday practice, hence enabling the students to expand their knowledge within a concrete context. The training programme will revolve around project work on topics concerning “sustainable building”. The project groups will be coached by reputed professors of architecture and civil and environmental engineering. At the end of the programme, the students will have an opportunity to intern at Wienerberger and gather additional practical insight.
