Change of personnel in the hollow brick group
17.07.2023The Federal Association of the German Brick and Tile Industry (BVZi) has appointed the 51-year-old structural specialist Dipl.-Ing. Hakan Türktür as the new head of the "Standardisation and Application" department in the hollow brick specialist group. The civil engineer took up his new position on 1 April 2023 and succeeds Dr Udo Meyer.
"We are very pleased that with Mr Türktür we have been able to gain an experienced colleague in the field of masonry construction for our team in the specialist group for hollow bricks," says a delighted BVZi Chief Executive Attila Gerhäuser. "After completing his induction and handover, Dr Meyer will in future take over the management of university work for civil engineering at his own request."
Hakan Türktür studied civil engineering with a focus on solid construction-steel construction at the Technical University of Berlin. Afterwards, he worked for several years as a project manager in structural engineering at Weiske und Partner GmbH, Beratende Ingenieure VBI im Bauwesen, among other positions.
