Lingl established a service base in Russia

In December 2010, Lingl set up the new subsidiary “OOO Lingl Service” at Saint Petersburg so that the Lingl service network now consists of 4 service bases all over the world. These service bases provide customers with comprehensive quotations based on the Lingl service portfolio. In addition to the supply of spare and wear parts, Lingl also offers inspection, maintenance and repair work. Another core area is the monitoring of equipment condition with the following services: thermal imaging, vibration diagnostics, detection of compressed air leakage, manager info system as well as teleservice. Modification measures and upgrading of existing plants as well as optimizations to increase efficiency also form an integral part of the comprehensive services offered by Lingl.

One of the considerable advantages of the new subsidiary “OOO Lingl Service” is for example the simple and prompt supply of the Russian customers with spear and wear parts. Another big advantage for Russian customers is the optimized and cost-effective order processing as the procurement of spear parts has now become a pure domestic business – extensive import contracts and procurement of foreign currency are now a thing of the past. Moreover, the time-consuming customs clearance with customs authorities, customs brokers or forwarding agents is no longer required. There is also a simplification resulting from the handling of payment in national currency. The customers are attended to by experienced Russian Lingl employees at Saint Petersburg.

The Lingl customers on site will also be supported by Russian service technicians belonging to the staff of the “OOO Lingl Service”. A prompt intervention of well-trained service technicians who are entirely familiar with the Lingl techniques is ensured by that. Long travelling times, higher travelling costs and time-consuming visa handling for service technicians from Germany are significantly reduced.
