Very good atmosphere in the exhibiting industry and among the visitors
Right from the start of the fair on Tuesday, there was a noticeably upbeat atmosphere in the halls, boosted by the currently positive economic situation in both trades. 66.4% (2010: 47.2%) of the visitors rated the market with “good” to “very good” for the future and this optimism was also reflected at the fair in both the lively exchange of knowledge between professionals and in good order activity.
In a representative survey the trade fair visitors also expressed their satisfaction with the new products on display. 85.7% (2010: 80.4%) of those surveyed stated that they had achieved in full their main aim in coming to the fair. The overall rating for the range on show at the fair improved again: 94.5% (2010: 89.9%) gave it the best rating of “good” to “very good”.
One highlight in the accompanying programme was the four-day Façade Forum, at which speakers from the clay roofing tile industry presented their solutions. The high level of attendance at the lectures and the façade models on show underline how important a theme the façade is for roofers and carpenters.
Five representatives of the clay roofing tile industry presented their new products and services, focussing, for instance, on the topics of the “full ceramic roof” and solar energy utilization.
The next Roof+Timber International is set to take place from 18 to 21 February 2014 in Cologne.
