Roof+Timber International –
branch compass for renovation and modernization
This year‘s share of foreign visitors nearly doubled to 13% (2008: 7%). The fair‘s pair of sponsoring organizations were satisfied on balance: The stands were well frequented, and demand was high. Energy-wise renovation and conversion emerged as the favourite topics. According to the results of an independent survey, 91.1% of the trade visitors rated the fair‘s profferings as either “good“ or “very good“. The main reason most of the visitors came was to seek out innovations, and 81.9% of those interviewed said they had found what they were looking for.
The exhibitors, too, were very satisfied with the resonance on all four days, i.e., 85.4% of all participating companies judged the visitors‘ professional qualities as “good to very good“.
More than 500 people – far more than expected – attended the architects‘ conference on Thursday, and that free forum was just one of the highlights of the informative fringe programme.
The next Roof+Timber International is scheduled for January 31 through February 3, 2012, in Stuttgart. For more information, please consult our “Events“ column at www.zi-online.info.
