Thermoplan takes over production site and employees from Lippert
Thermoplan, a specialist in plant engineering, storage technology, electrical engineering and process engineering, is once again expanding its activities, according to a press release. The company intends to integrate around 25 former employees of the insolvent plant engineering company for porcelain production Lippert GmbH at its site in Pressath, Germany. Last year, Thermoplan had already taken over the production site and employees of Rumke Keramikmaschinen GmbH in Brilon.
According to Thermoplan, the new location in the Upper Palatinate is to operate independently and is equipped with all the necessary functions from purchasing to design and electrics/software to sales. Alexander Gorlt, a former employee of Lippert, will take over the management of the site as a member of the management board.
According to Christian Nether, Managing Director of Thermoplan, many of the Pressath-based company‘s well-known contacts in the ceramics industry have been persuaded to join. The aim is to create continuity in both service and supply for Lippert‘s ceramic customers. The „Lippert“ brand will therefore also be retained.
Christian Nether adds: „Due to this, Thermoplan has the unique selling point of being the only plant manufacturer to cover all ceramic sectors and to be able to offer and supply customized solutions.“
