Prefabricated façade elements for individual demands and cost-effective construction
At their factory in Steyerberg, CRH Clay Solutions makes prefabricated elements for façades. In addition to clay masonry units from the neighbouring “Albert” plant, the factory also employs products provided by the European sister companies of their Irish parent conglomerate CRH, as well as material from other brickworks. With nearly four decades of experience in the field, CRH’s prefabricated-element experts have implemented numerous architecturally appealing structures with prefabricated elements.
1 History
In 1995, a new prefabricated element factory costing approx. 1 million euros was constructed and commissioned adjacent to the CRH “Albert“ plant (still known at that time as a plant belonging to A·K·A Brick Group). Today, all sorts of prefabricated heavy clay elements are being produced there – from window lintels to jumbo-size façade elements.
