Dr Frank Herrmann – new CEO at Schiedel

On 1 September 2012, Dr Frank Herrmann was appointed CEO of the Schiedel Group, a company of the Monier Group. He succeeds Mario Wallner, who after 14 years as CEO is taking on the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Under the new leadership, Schiedel will continue its strategy of further strengthening the ceramic chimney division through innovation while at the same time sustainably expanding its position in the steel chimney market. The company is also planning to promote further growth in the area of ventilation and energy systems and offer end-customers both technically sound and user-friendly products.

Since April 2012, Dr Frank Herrmann had been COO (Chief Operating Officer) and Deputy CEO of the Schiedel Group, which is headquartered in Vienna. Prior to that he was Head of the business line steel chimneys at Schiedel, and since the end of 2008, he has overseen the Monier Group’s internal “World Class Monier” performance programme.
