Automation solutions from Bedeschi S.p.A.

For many years now, thanks in part to the strategic acquisition of the Italian company Cami (now part of the Bedeschi Group), Bedeschi has been operating in this field with dedicated research and development to provide customers with ever more comprehensive services. Last year, given the large number of projects successfully completed in this sector, including some in Algeria, went down as a real “automation year” for the Bedeschi Group.

Sarl Biskria – Algeria

Within the scope of a long-standing cooperation, Bedeschi supplied the Amouri Group with a set of machines for clay preparation and the production of clay bricks for its Briquetterie Biskria located in Biskra.

The line, installed in record time, has a high production capacity and will give the customer great flexibility. Moreover, it will enable the diversification of production while maintaining a high output. The total capacity of the plant is 1600 t/day.

Bedeschi supplied a huge, fully automatic lateral reclaimer, with high-capacity buckets for 130 l. The two production lines can feed two dryers and three kilns at once.

The line is composed of six box feeders  with metal belt (type cnl6/1200) complete with large-volume hoppers, one feeder with a rubber belt for sand (type cng4/1200), a crusher (type rd450/1200) with anti-wear protection, a disintegrator (ds450/1200), six roller mills (type lps 14x12) installed parallel, four large double-shaft mixers (type gg4500) and two extruders (type Bed750).

Each line has been designed and engineered by Cami to ensure optimum performance and high output as well as secure packaging for both standard bricks (B8/B12) and ceiling blocks. All the loading packs were developed and agreed with the customer to optimize the loading operations and ensure the best possible quality during handling.

Four horizontal strapping machines for layer strapping

Two double-head grippers for pack reformation

Motor-driven bench for pack strapping
