Bernini Impianti establishes subsidiary in Colombia
To facilitate communication with its customers in Latin America, the Italian company Bernini Impianti has established a subsidiary in Bogotá, Colombia: Tecnober SAS. It is important for Bernini Impianti to get closer to the brick industry there as the region is enjoying steady growth in the construction sector and showing considerable interest in energy efficiency, quality improvement, and production fields. Tecnober SAS will provide direct access to kilns and firing systems.
Bernini Impianti has developed machines that can meet market needs in terms of technology and versatility, e.g. the Hybrid Solid Fuel Burner (HSFB) that works with solid fuel such as coal and biomass. This model is currently working in Hoffman kilns with very good results in terms of lowering fuel consumption and therefore reducing environmental emissions. It is for this performance objective that the system has been presented at the Energy Efficiency Program in Latin American Artisanal Kilns to Mitigate Climate Change (EELA). EELA is a program of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), implemented by Swisscontact, together with its partners in six countries in Latin America (Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru). Tecnober S.A.S. teamed up with Bernini Impianti is joining the group of suppliers for the development program in Colombia and expects to gradually extend cooperation with other countries that are part of the EELA program.
The company also took part at the XIII edition of the Fair Expoconstrucción & Expodiseño, which took place from 19 to 24 May 2 015 at the International Business Center and Exhibitions Corferias, Bogotá. Here the company was able to talk to existing customers and present its portfolio to all representatives of the national and international industry. Thanks to its team of technicians and engineers, Bernini Impianti along with Tecnober is not only just a supplier, but a reliable partner with extensive know-how and experience in the development of optimum solutions to meet the individual needs of the customer.
