Burton is now Refratechnik!
This is the current slogan under which the former Burton GmbH + Co. KG presents itself. Its assets were taken over by the Refratechnik Group in 2013 and the company is now operating as Refratechnik Ceramics GmbH. We spoke to Dipl.-lng. Klaus-Martin Meier, who together with Dr. Thomas Reimer is managing the business of Refratechnik Ceramics GmbH at the Melle and Sátoraljajhely sites, about the strong brand name, the company’s development and its prospects for the future.
The former Burton is now part of the strong, internationally established Refratechnik Group, the world’s biggest family-run refractories company. As Refratechnik Ceramics, we can draw on wide-ranging resources and utilize synergies. Last year, the focus was on the implementation of Refratechnik’s philosophy in Melle and in Hungary.
