Christian Birck succeeds Ulrich Siepe

Following a long and successful career at Braas Monier and the BMI Group, Ulrich Siepe, Managing Director of the German BMI companies Braas, Icopal, Vedag and Wolfin Bautechnik as well as Braas Schweiz AG has decided to leave the Group. Ulrich Siepe worked for over 15 years in various management positions within the group, including in marketing, sales and supply chain as well as since 2015 as Managing Director at Braas and moreover since 2017 as Managing Director of Icopal, Vedag and Wolfin.

Christian Birck succeeds him as new Managing Director and Commercial Director at the BMI Region Central Europe as of 1 August. Birck joined the BMI Group in July 2019 to manage the Central and Eastern European business and has been Strategy Director at the BMI Group since February 2020. He brings with him in-depth experience in construction materials and property management, which he amassed in management positions in general management, marketing and commercial management on four continents, including at LafargeHolcim.

In the months ahead, Christian Birck plans to focus on the further consolidation of the companies and strengthening the brands.
