Under this motto, Vitreus GmbH, a company established in 2014, develops and produces engobes, glazes and granulates. The company, based in Seevetal, in Northern Germany, also supplies raw materials including manganese and iron oxides, glass and colour pigments.
Technical on-site services complete the service range of the company that is led by the two shareholders and managing directors Sonja Sommer and Joachim Grothe. Clay roofing tile and brick manufacturers from all over the world are supplied.
“Passion for the product alone is not enough, only team work achieves the best result”. This is another aspect of Vitreus’ corporate philosophy. Vitreus’ mission is to deliver a variety of products in a perfectly mixed state to the customer. This includes creative product ideas, a sound quality assurance system, a modern production facility with two Eirich mixers and a skilled and excellent team.
The production capacity is more than 10 000 tonnes per year. The company has established itself on the market and is on course for further expansion. Europe is currently the key market. A more global expansion of the business is planned for 2017. There are plans to establish a sales office outside Europe in the near future.
