Keramischer Ofenbau GmbH based in Hildesheim, Germany, has significantly increased its sales activities as well as its research and development work. It can offer very attractive energy-saving systems for kilns in new plants as well as for the optimization of existing plants.

For continuous kilns with oxidizing atmosphere, a new, energy-efficient firing system has been developed, which is both ecologically and economically expedient. This is based on a highly efficient operating mode of high-velocity burners with the new EnerViT System. The system is equipped with flame control and Lambda measurements with ZrO₂ probes.

The shuttle kilns supplied by Keramischer Ofenbau GmbH are well known for their excellent temperature distribution and the high quota of top-quality finished products fired in them.

Various new kiln plants are under construction, including a newly developed kiln for technical ceramics in Asia as well as kilns for a completely new production plant for vitrified clay pipes. New tunnel kilns with excellent temperature distribution at high setting width and shuttle kilns for sanitaryware are currently being put into operation in different countries in Central Europe, North Africa, Central America and in the Arabian region. Kilns with the new energy-efficient firing system will be put into operation shortly.
