Sacmi’s self-recovery EKO burners
Sacmi Heavy Clay will present its range of complete plants for the brick industry, from burners, which will be on display along with a cutting machine, to innovative solutions for rapid drying and handling of products.
There are signs of recovery in the European brick market, with a growing demand for technological solutions and integrated plants for just-in-time production and for the manufacture of products intended for export, e.g. roofing tiles. A strategy that Sacmi Heavy Clay, as a full service partner for the clay brick and tile industry, is taking up at the trade fair. For many years now Sacmi has been at the forefront worldwide, offering innovative solutions and targeted technological proposals, focused on optimizing production costs and energy saving.
As one of the major burner manufacturers and one of the few that manufacture these products themselves, Sacmi is showcasing its new range of self-recovery EKO burners at its stand. The EKO solution used in the heat treatment equipment manufactured by Sacmi Forni enables the reduction of energy consumption during firing and is part of a wide product range that goes from high-speed side burners to roof burners with automatic ignition system, up to the classical air and gas mix burners.
In addition, the trade visitors from all over the world will have the opportunity to become better acquainted with Sacmi Heavy Clay’s range of services for the design of integrated plants. This comprises innovative installations for rapid drying and state-of-the-art handling equipment, which have been developed together with Cosmec, the company acquired by Sacmi in 2014.
To complete the picture. Sacmi will exhibit a multiwire cutting machine, manufactured by Cosmec, which stands out thanks to its innovation, versatility and reliability of use. This is designed to meet the cutting requirements of any type of product – from horizontal, vertical or combined multiple cuts to multiple cuts with parallel columns, as well as the various special multiple cutting systems. With widths up to 1500 mm and without a central support of the cutting wires, it maximizes flexibility with regard to the dimensions of the extrusion die and in the production chain. Maximum accuracy of the cut is ensured with the innovative wire tensioning system, which is designed to minimize the risk of wire breakage, thus reducing maintenance time.
