Wienerberger integrates Hart Keramik’s regional sales activities

As of 1 April 2015 Wienerberger has taken over the regional sales activities for the chimney systems and backing bricks produced by Ziegelwerk Waldsassen AG Hart Keramik and, parallel to this, is selling off the stock of Poroton clay blocks from the Schirnding plant. The Schirnding warehousing facility will be retained. In this way, Wienerberger aims to strengthen its regional presence and local sales. The sales staff and applications engineers in the brick division at Ziegelwerk Waldsassen AG Hart Keramik will be integrated into the Wienerberger sales organization. Hart Keramik, which has assured its full support, will continue to produce and sell its growth products, especially ceramic flue liners and Lemix clay panels, all over Europe.
For Ralf Schwung, Wienerberger’s Managing Director, the Upper Palatinate, Upper Franconia and Vogtland are important brick markets in Germany.
