08.06.2010 News: 15-17 March 2011: Indian Ceramics 2011 hits 1,500 square metre mark

With over 9 months still to go to the 6th Indian Ceramics Exhibition, organised by Asian Ceramics and Gattaca Communications, exhibition director Kevin Hudson has revealed that a spate of recent confirmations has moved the show past the 1,500 metre mark already.
“Clearly the move to the University exhibition centre – the only purpose built exhibition venue in Gujarat – has excited people even more” says Hudson. “It has excellent facilities and once more shows our commitment to continually investing in and developing the event. The fact that this is the 6th show is a clear indication of our long term drive towards quality” he adds.
In the last 10 days, companies such as Foshan Modena, Vanda Glaze, Foshan Boffin, Keda, Henglitai, Monte Bianco, New King Time and yesterday, a 100 sq metre booking from H&R Johnson have moved the show along dramatically.
“We have always known that this show is deservedly popular. This year, H&R Johnson have more than doubled their stand, whilst Keda and Modena have both increased by 50%. Henglitai have also increased by 25%, as companies demand a greater slice of the action in India” he added.
Even though there is up to 2,500 sq metres available at the venue, the forecast current requirement will actually exceed that. “I cannot stress how important it is that companies secure their space early – particularly if they are looking for a major block – as there are now much fewer positions left than ever before at this stage. Indian Ceramics 2011 will once again be a sell-out, and as such if companies have not yet secured their space, they will need to move quickly.”
