Focus on Indonesia for Italian ceramic technology

Focus on Indonesia for Italian manufacturers of ceramic machinery. Under the coordination of Acimac (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics) and the ICE-Agenzia (Italian Trade Commission), nine companies will be exhibiting – for the first time collectively – at Keramika, the Indonesian trade fair taking place in Jakarta from 17th to 20th April.

In addition to the corporate stand for Acimac and the ICE-Agenzia, the following companies will be presenting at this year's Keramika: BMR, Capaccioli, Durst, LB Officine Meccaniche, Mectiles, Sirtec, Siti B&T, TCK and Tecnoferrari.

Colorobbia, Lamberti, Smaltochimica, System and TosiLab will also have displays at the trade fair.
According to data from the Acimac Research Centre, the macro geographic area labelled "Other Asia" - which includes India, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam - was the second largest export market for Italian manufacturers of ceramic machinery in 2012. In numerical terms, 16.5% of exports (totalling 212.4 million euros) are now destined for these dynamic Asian markets.

Now in it's third year, Keramika is the arena in which Indonesian manufacturers of ceramic tiles and sanitaryware showcase their products. The trade fair is also popular with suppliers in the ceramic industry. Keramika is part of the Megabuild trade fair, which is dedicated to the building industry and is subdivided into the following themes: Renovation & Construction, Doors & Windows, Bathroom & Kitchen, Roof & Flooring, Lighting.
