Tegulas presents latest-generation pressing tools for roof tiles

» Tegulas Managing Director Daniel Imhof explaining how the new-generation tool works

Established in 1998, this Swiss company attracted numerous prospective buyers to its stand to see the new K- 187 family of pressing tools. Thanks to Tegulas‘ self-engineered, very hard, scratch-proof mould material, up to 70% less plaster is needed. While a plaster thickness of 18 mm was the rule in the past, 5–9 mm will now suffice. That not only saves plaster, it also reduces outlays for plaster disposal.

The porous mould material abstracts the water from the ceramic body and shortens the setting and waiting times. Water extraction is tool-integrated. Mould cleaning also proves advantageous....
